Milestone #2
For the second milestone I roughed out the prototype for Act 3. Instead of getting stuck on elements that I was uncertain of, I wrote in briefly what I wanted to convey with the missing element. The main thing that I am having trouble with right now is coming up with a symbol relevant to a wolf that represents socialization. So it ends with Zoe receiving a definition rather than an item :P Not super satisfying. There is also tons of missing dialog, because I suck at writing dialog. I also did no coding, just wrote in when what option becomes available. I think this will be easier for the initial test because it is still very rough and I don't want to accidentally make something that is impossible to progress in. I am not a programmer, so even basic scripting takes me a long time, and if I have to go and change things it's just a big time sink. So there's all my excuses for holding off on that level of functionality until I have a tighter product.
